Containerized Testing of 5G Core SCP with Service Mesh

The Challenge:

The Tier-1 North American operator required a containerized tool that could integrate with their 5G cloud service mesh to validate SCP rate limiting and IPv4/IPv6 translation between SBI network functions.

The Solution:

The project automated testing for key 5G Core SCP features, including rate limiting, circuit breaker, and overload controls. It later expanded to SMF-UDM flow validation and automated policy testing using VoLTE scripts with a real PCF via dsTest. The operator continues to extend automated 5GC use cases.
