Miguel Carrero joins as Senior Vice President and General Manager Security Business
August 9, 2019, Cupertino, California: World-leading mobile roaming company, Mobileum Inc. today announced the appointment of Miguel Carrero as a Senior Vice President and the General Manager of its Security Business Unit. With years of experience within the Communications Service Providers and Cybersecurity industries, Carrero brings a wealth of expertise in strategy and portfolio creation, evolution, and go-to-market strategy.
Carrero joins us from Siemplify, a Security Operations Automation and Response (SOAR) platform industry leader where over the past 3 years he has served in several capacities, most recently as Chief Revenue Officer and previously as its Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development. Before joining Siemplify, Carrero spent some 14 years at Hewlett Packard in various roles including Head of Products & Solutions for ArcSight within its Enterprise Security Products, and as General Manager, Actionable Customer Intelligence, Communications and Media Solutions. He holds an Executive MBA from the IESE Business School at the University of Navarra, and a Master’s Degree in business administration and management from Comillas Pontifical University.

As its GM, Carrero will be responsible for leading and growing Mobileum’s security business and its portfolio of award-winning solutions. He will be based at Mobileum’s Cupertino, California headquarters.
