Your mission

As a Team Leader Support Europe Central & West you will lead our international Europe Central and West support team, be the first internal contact for region related support matters and be responsible for the compliance of the SLAs in your region.

Additionally, you will handle 2nd Level Support tickets, be the support representative for customers of your region (1st escalation contact) and monitor the performance of your team. Furthermore, you will be responsible for training and knowledge transfer of your team and coordinating Software Updates with the SW-Update team.

Location:  Nuremberg (Germany), fulltime


To join our team, YOU must HAVE:

  • Graduate IT degree
  • +8 years of practical working experience in the telecommunication industry
  • Linux OS server knowledge
  • Experience in handling and administration of 2nd level tickets or equivalent knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • Experience in leadership of international teams (beneficial)
  • End to End testing experience (beneficial)
  • Mobile communications protocol knowledge (beneficial)
  • Experience with (MySQL) databases (beneficial)

And YOU must BE:

  • Goal and solution orientated and having well-structured working approach
  • Strong persevering and efficient in finalization of working tasks
  • Dedicated and proactive with a high personal responsibility
  • Self-dependent and very reliable with a keen capacity for working under pressure
  • Competent in contacting our key customers also in critical situations
