How it works: (Example: balance enquiry)
Subscriber registers for mobile banking via the Internet or ATM
Customer sends text to bank “BAL [account name]”
Balance information is immediately returned via SMS to the customer “BAL [account name] = €91.37
Part of Roamware’s Macalla Platform Mobile Banking solution, Cardless ATM enables cash withdrawal at an ATM without using a bank card. It can be used in case of loss or theft of an ATM card or to send money to friends and family at home and abroad.
How it works
Text amount, recipient number, mobile operator to short code e.g.
“Cash 10 0861234567 O2” to 51309
Two digits from account holder’s security password are requested by the Macalla Platform
Once account is confirmed, the recipient receives a text message which contains a 6 digit ATM
code together with instructions
Recipient must use the code on an ATM within a pre-defined period otherwise code will expire
